Strawberry, Honey and Lemon Acne Mask ♥

Hi everyone! Today I made a natural face mask using only strawberries, honey and lemon! I think the idea of MAKING your face masks opposed to buying them is pretty neat because you actually know exactly what you are putting onto your face and it feels pretty good when you make something that can improve your skin!

Now, what I really love about this mask is that all the things you put into it are SUPER good for your skin! and here's a spoiler but it REALLY does make you're skin soft and brighter. Anyways here are the good things I read about strawberries, honey and lemons:

"Strawberry – A natural source of salicylic acid. SA is a common anti-acne ingredient used to clean out pores and get rid of blackheads without over drying the skin. Also used as a natural exfoliant.

Honey – The antibacterial properties in honey benefit acne-prone skin by reducing breakouts and healing current flair ups. It’s also a natural humectant so it locks in necessary moisture to keep skin hydrated and soothed.

Lemon – A natural astringent that tightens pores and brightens the complexion (because lemons are packed with Vitamin C and antioxidants). Also an ingredient commonly used to even out skin tone (good for minimizing the appearance of acne scarring)."

Doesn't that sound amazing? And I'm telling you, right away you will feel how smooth the strawberries and honey make your skin and how much brighter it becomes with the lemon!

And here is how to make it!

All you'll need are:
5 fresh strawberries
Honey
Half a lemon

The website that I read this from says you'll only need a table spoon of honey and 1/4 of a lemon but trust me, more is better. You'll want more honey to make sure it stays on your skin and gives you that tight feeling!~

Take the steams off the strawberries. I suggest just cutting of the tops. Now, I don't have a blender so I used a fork as the website suggest but it was TOO hard! The strawberries were too slippery so I just took my hands and mushed them myself.

Next you'll need your honey. First I only put in one tablespoon-like the website suggested- but it was WAY too watery. I felt like it wouldn't be very effected so I put in AS MUCH as I liked. And I put in a lot LOL.

Next add your lemon. Only half should be good! You really don't need to squeeze the lemon to death, just get a good amount of juice in there were you can mix it all in evenly.
THAT'S IT! You're ready to apply your mask! Don't try getting the pieces of strawberry to stay on your face, the important part is the juice. Just keep taking small amounts and rubbing it in until your face has a nice red tint from all the juice on it. Your face should feel nice and sticky as it dries~ Leave it on for 7-12 (the longer the better) and the rise it off! Make sure you keep your head tilted back a bit while applying it so that lemon juice doesn't get in your eye! >__o

ALL DONE!

Afterward, you're skin should feel much softer and noticeably brighter! You can this mask 2 times a week which I recommend. Tell me how it worked for you and look forward to my avocado mask! Thank you!

Movie Review: Evil Dead and G.I. Joe: Retaliation ♥

Hi everyone! I'm a huge movie watcher and one of my best friends and I make it a goal to see a movie almost ever weekend. I'm actually typing this a 3:30AM so that the movie is fresh in my mind. We were at the theater from 10:30 PM to 2:00 AM! Both of these movies were really good!

Two words: BLOODY and NASTY. If you have a weak stomach this movie is seriously not something you should watch. I think some of the worst parts were the few times a limb had to be taken off in a VERY unpleasant way. The suspense is so tensebut actually once the initial shock is over its not too bad. Many parts are still sick and twisted but a lot less disgusting after you get used to it. It had me clinging to my chair and my friend and covering my ears the whole time. For me personally, I think I will still be able to sleep tonight (maybe after shining my iPad around the room JUST to make sure LOL). So much ugly demoness, scary lady appearing in the background, and quite unnecessary deaths. And remember, don't relax just yet! You think that guy or girl might be dead but you might be wrong! If you're looking for a movie close to Saw with a hint of demon possession, this movie is for you!

I give it a 7.2 out of 10!

AWESOME! I've been waiting to see this movie ever since they showed a long sneak preview before another movie I saw a while ago. I LOVE good action, especially ninjas and swords or guns and explosions (basically the definition of action lol~) But this movie really had it all. So many great actors, and even though I know a lot of the ladies went just to see the first few minutes, which has Channing Tatum in it but I know we all know who the real star is:

Byung-Hun Lee, oh yes.

ANYWAYS, it was an awesome movie, no complains at all. The plot might get a little confusing here or there but it was an excellent quality movie.

I give an 8.2 out of 10!

Sorry for the short review but it is 4:20AM! Tell me what you thought of these films!

Lush Wishlist ♥

Ever since my first purchase at Lush, I've been day dreaming for another visit so I can get some more products. Since Lush products are a bit pricey, these wonderful items might not be mine for a long time but I still vow to one day try them!~

I've only been to the Lush store once and I already know the struggle of trying to pick something. It was like going to a candy store or shopping for clothes; YOU WANT IT ALL! But I used the US site to get a little background info on some things and I really want to purchase these in the future!

When I visited Lush, the lady there gave me a free sample of this and she scrubbed it all over my hand and washed it off for me and it made my hand so soft and smell go good. I wanted to just grab the big jar and run because it so pretty and it smells wonderful! The only reason I didn't buy it was because its $21!! And that's just for the small one! The big one is $35 on the site but I swear it was forty something at the store! Regardless, I seriously want to buy this one day! It has so many good things in it like Fine Sea Salt and Fresh Grapefruit Infusion. Tell me that doesn't sound epic. OH! And Fresh Lime Extract in VODKA? When the lady told me that I was like

But that sounds super cool!

This bath bomb is so pretty to me! The nice purple with the gold, greens and blues. I really want to see how it would look in a bath! I think I actually picked this one up at the store, I'm just not sure. It has great reviews and the ingredients seem super interesting. Like the Organic Jojoba Oil (what is that?!), Iron Oxides and even cinnamon sticks!

Now I picked this one for obvious reasons: THERE ARE FREAKING ROSES IN IT. Seriously, there are 7 rose bubs in it. Doesn't it just look romantic? :o The featured ingredient is Orris Root Powder and is has Rose Absolute and Geranium Oil. It got some reviews saying it wasn't very long lasting and fizzed out quickly. If I had enough money I'd probably buy two of these, maybe that would solve the problem!

At first, I was going to pass by this one because it looked a little boring but when I clicked on it I read "Swim your private ocean in a relaxing seaweed soak" and honestly  I love the thought of seaweed products. I HATE running into seaweed at the beach (the orange/brown scratchy kind because I'm scared of jellyfish in it) but seaweed in a bath bomb sounds awesome! A lot of reviews says it leaves tub residue but honestly I don't mind cleaning out my tub after a good soak because then I can get a closer look as to what I was relaxing it!:3 Some also said it has TOO MUCH seaweed but again, not a problem with me. More is always better!

Last but not least, I picked Avobath for one key ingredient: AVOCADO! I really love to eat avocado and I don't know why but a nice avocado bath sounds really lovely. I wonder if there are any good avocado face masks at Lush or that I can make myself! :3

Thanks for reading and let me know if you've tried any of these products or have different ones to recommend!

Wallet search! ♥

Hi all!~ Recently I was on Jasmine Blu's blog and she bought a super cute wallet which made me realize that I don't have one! I usually just carry around my drivers permit in a little card holder and my money in my pocket, which can be pretty dangerous! So I spent a while on eBay trying to find some cute wallets, clutches, and card holder ! Let me tell it was pretty hard to find cute wallets and many of them were wallets/ Galaxy S3 or iPhone which I don't have either of :c But I managed to find a few regular ones~

You Can Do It and Don't Touch Its Mine Kawaii Girl Credit Card Mini Wallet! Even though they're a bit pricey at $10 They're both so cute and good for holding card.

These cute Kimono Girl Ribbon Purse Wallets are also cute for holding cards and money! The pink and blue look adorable!

I'm actually really in love with these, not just because they're cute but look how much you can fit into it! Thats what I really want, something I can hold pictures and card and money into~ I have my eyes on the light pink one!

Again, it was SUPER hard to find a regular wallet that wasn't also a case for a Galaxy s3 or iPhone!

This one is like a purse and a wallet! I also have this one in mind!

Well those are just a few I found ^.^ I'm going to do a post of the cutest wallet cases I found because there are way more of those and way cuter! Please tell me if you found any cute wallets before I make a purchase  Thanks for reading!

Lush ♥

Hi everyone! Today was a break through day in my life. I took my first trip to...Lush! Now if you follow any bloggers/instagrams/youtubers that are into fashion, make up or skin care you DEFINITELY know about Lush. And if you don't, have no fear. Its basically a store (online as well) where you can buy handmade and organic bath bombs, soaps, body washes, face scrubs, lip balm, etc. The list goes on forever! But you might be thinking "So what, I can buy all those things at Walmart." Well, these products are not Walmart brand quality (p.s I love Walmart). Just judging by the high prices, you know these are more then your dollar store soaps. If you don't quite understand, visit their website, lush.com and browse for yourself!~ I recommend finding a store close to you because not only can you see what you might buy up close and determine if you life the smell, texture, etc, a employee there gave me a free test of one of their face scrubs!
Now! This is my very first time ever buying anything from Lush and even though I've gone through the website a billion times and see tons of pictures I really had no clue what to buy. There will be SO much you want, trust me! Since the only store in my area is quite a ways away I knew I had to get SOMETHING but $20 can only get you so much so I decided to get some of their famous bath bombs!~ Bath Bombs are just big (or small) spheres that you put into your bath water and they smell super pretty, make your skin smell super pretty and turn the water pretty colors. Or so I've heard!

I got (from right to left) the Dragons Egg Ballistic and the Pink Mini. I choose them because they smells WONDERFULLY SWEET. The smell is addicting! It smells like lemon Pez only sweeter and stronger! Even my receipt smells great!

This is the one I picked for myself; Dragon Ball Ballistic. It smells so sweet and lovely!~ It has tiny pieces of color in it; blue, pink and yellow. I wonder what it will do. I can't wait to try it in a bath!

Here is the Pink mini I got for my best friend! It also smells super sweet and I got it because I know it will turn the water an amazing color and I can't wait to hear about the flowers at the top!

So yeah! The big Dragon Egg was $6.63 (I know right >__>) and the Pink mini was $5.25(I KNOW right?!) I think it was quite worth it though! These just smell amazing. I might update after I use my Dragon Egg and Anna uses her Pink mini. Do you have any recommendable Lush products?
