Super Sweet Sugar Scrub ♥

Hey! I found a super quick and really easy face scrub that you can make a home and I guarantee you don't need to make a trip to the store for this one. The only things you will need for this scrub is:

Sugar (pure, natural, cane sugar is the best)
Water
A bowl and spoon

Only 2 basic ingredients! Now before you start freaking out like "Sugar will make me break out!", relax. The sugar that goes into our candy and sweets may not be great for your skin but its not the same as natural sugar. Natural sugar is actually excellent skincare.
  • Sugar is a natural humectant. This means it draw moisture from the environment into the skin. It helps hydrate and keep you skin moist.
  • Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid that that helps your skin to look younger and fresher.
  • Sugar's small particles are a great topical exfoliant and is used in a lot of the body scrubs you buy daily to get rid of dead skin.
  • Check out these facts in detail here!

All you need is sugar (I didn't have any fancy brand of sugar so I used Wal-Mart brand), warm water, (I popped mine in the microwave for a few seconds) and a bowl and spoon!

Put 2 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl.

Blocked my brothers face out with an alpaca in the spoon kekeke
Mixing time! Add 3 tablespoons of warm/hot water. Mix until all the grains are dissolved. You don't want them to tear your skin! Mixing might take a while but keep at it. You'll know its done when it becomes a sticky, clear liquid.
Should look like this ^_^

Finally, apply it to your face and massage it in! ( try not to eat your fingers off kekeke) Its not like a mask that you can keep on for 10+ minutes but I left it one for about 3 minutes. Once you're done, rinse it off with warm water or a steamed washcloth. And that's it! This mask is quick, easy, and can help get rid of that dead skin and clear clogged pores!  If you want to mix this up try adding a little bit of honey or lemon. Honey is great for fresh skin and lemon can help fade scars. Sugar can be used in many ways for skin care so look forward to more masks/scrubs involving sugar!Try this out and let me know how it works for you! Thanks!~
